Clarification Text on The Protectıon of Your Personal Data

As SEVGİ VE KARDEŞLİK VAKFI (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”), a tax-paying entity registered under tax number 5230585689 at Şişli Tax Office and headquartered at Ergenekon Mah. Cumhuriyet Cad. No: 203/10, Harbiye/Şişli/Istanbul, Turkey, we hereby inform you, as a data controller, that your personal data will be recorded, stored, preserved, shared with authorized institutions, transferred domestically or internationally, classified, and processed in other ways specified under the Personal Data Protection Law (referred to as “KVKK” hereinafter). This will be done within the scope of our business and solidarity relations, in a limited, relevant, and proportionate manner, while ensuring the accuracy and currency of the data you provide.

Your personal data, as detailed below and provided by you, will be processed:

• In accordance with the purpose requiring its processing, in connection with and limited to this purpose;
• Preserving the accuracy and currency of the data as provided by you;
• Recorded, stored, preserved, shared with institutions authorized by law, and transferred domestically to third parties for the fulfillment of services as required by law and under the conditions stipulated by the KVKK.

What Personal Data Do We Process?

Within the scope of our assistance activities, as defined by the Foundation’s charter and within the limits set by KVKK, we process the following personal data:

• Identity data: Name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, nationality.
• Contact data: Address, mobile phone number, email address.
• Special category personal data: Health-related information, if provided in your CV.
• Educational data: Education level, certificates, diplomas, expertise, foreign language skills, education and skills, seminars, and courses attended, computer knowledge, exam information.
• Work experience data: Total experience, employment status and title, work experience (company names, periods of employment, job description).
• Visual and audio data: Photos of the individual.
• Other: Driver’s license data, competencies, hobbies, salary expectations, military status, reference information (name, surname, title, workplace, phone, email of the reference, based on the approval requested from the reference person), and any Word, Excel, presentation files, Profile ID, Login ID, IP address, log records, and data resulting from personality inventory reports, answers to standard and special questions asked to the candidate during job application processes.

For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?

The personal data we process, as listed above, is used for the following purposes:

• Sharing your CV with the Foundation’s managers and members responsible for the position you applied for, and evaluating your suitability for the position.
• Sharing notes taken on your CV with Foundation members to better understand and assess you.
• Verifying the data provided with the reference persons listed in your CV.
• Recording your CV information to verify your fit for the position and for future reference.

How Can You Submit Requests Regarding Your Personal Data?

You may submit requests regarding the processing of your personal data by filling out the application form attached to this Clarification Text and delivering it to the Foundation in writing, via registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or using the email address you previously provided and which is registered with us. Depending on the nature of your request and the method of application, additional verifications may be requested to ensure the protection of your rights (e.g., sending a message to your registered phone, or calling you). For example, if you apply using the email address registered with the Foundation, we may contact you using another method to verify the request’s authenticity.

How Long Will Your Personal Data Be Retained?

Personal data obtained through the channels mentioned in this Clarification Text will be processed in accordance with the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation on personal data protection, particularly KVKK, and will continue to be processed as long as the legitimate purposes outlined above persist.

What Are Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• To request information if your personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
• To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under certain conditions,
• To request notification of the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred about the correction, deletion, or destruction of your data,
• To object to any result that is to your detriment if your data is exclusively analyzed through automated systems,
• To demand compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

How to Submit Your Application Regarding Your Personal Data Under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK)?

To exercise the rights listed above, you may apply to the data controller in writing with a wet-signed document or submit your request via email to info@sevgivekardeslikvakfi.org.tr. The physical address for submitting your wet-signed request is Ergenekon Mah. Cumhuriyet Cad. No: 203/10, Harbiye/Şişli/Istanbul. If a third party applies on behalf of the personal data owner, a special power of attorney issued by the data owner must be provided.

Requests submitted in accordance with the procedure will be resolved within 30 days, free of charge.
